Noite do Muro de Berlim 1989

Figure 1 as a woman in a charcoal wool coat and turtleneck. Figure 2 as a man with brown hair combed back, thin metal glasses, clean-shaven, in a cheap blazer. They are pressed together in a crowd at Bornholmer Straße, Berlin Wall crossing, night of November 9, 1989. Tagged concrete wall, a paper flag, floodlights, Trabant cars, and the Berlin TV tower in the background. Disbelief turning to joy on their faces. Cold night air, 4000K sodium light plus floods, mild underexposure. Lens condensation, sleeves touching. Photographic realism, available-light grain.
