Noir de journal détrempé

1940s black-and-white comedy noir theatrical poster. High-contrast monochrome, wet reflections, streetlight halos, rich film grain. Rainy city street at night. Mike examines a soaking wet newspaper with magnifying glass, trying to determine who ruined it, wearing rumpled suit, fedora, trench coat and glasses, getting drenched, his face showing the reference likeness. Lisa stands under an umbrella wearing a sexy fitted trench dress, stockings and heels, giving him a long unimpressed stare, rain pouring directly onto Mike because he refuses to step beneath her umbrella, her face showing the reference likeness. Newsboy, taxi, police officer and passing pedestrians complete scene. Title: THE CASE OF THE SOAKED NEWSPAPER in classic noir typography.
